The Mãi Stool and Table are inspired by the monobloc furniture commonly seen on the streets of Vietnam. These unique pieces are not only functional furniture but also cultural artifacts, providing people with a space to dine, socialize, and fully immerse themselves in the vibrant street life of Vietnam.
Mãi is made from 100% up-cycled plastic waste. Mãi, which means “forever” in Vietnamese, refers to the properties that make plastic materials great—it will last forever—either in this form or reprocessed into something new. All products are designed in Ho Chi Minh City by rice studios and collaborators, and manufactured by family-owned furniture maker Minh Chương.
